Hello Everyone,
Its been a while since my last blog post so I decided to do a quick one before I went to bed. I need to get in more of a routine with these things. Things are going good here. Projects keep piling up but I created a digital request form for IT and maintenance needs to make things more organized and efficient. As with anything new the staff here will have to get use to it, but in the long run, it will be a much easier system. The plans for updating the school WiFi and Internet are going great. I got our new WiFi controller hooked up last Friday and it seems to be working great. Soon as IT&E gets their act together and updates our internet connection we will have high quality high speed internet at the school.
My apartment seems to be coming together and by that I mean I got my smart lights hooked up and my computer hardwired to the internet. It may seem dumb, but being able to tell Alexa to turn off and on lights and security cameras, sure beats walking around the place to do it. And its fun to play with. Slowly adding the dishes I need to my cooking supplies. I still need to make a visit to Amazon for a few items. I really like this place but once in a while the fire alarm will go off, (probably someone cooking, or burning some food) and I will feel like I'm in a dorm again and it will take me a minute before I realize I don't have to get up and go outside. Of course that policy could be bad if there ever was a fire.... Do they make smart fire sprinkler systems? If not dibs on the patent.
I have been doing a lot of swimming lately there is one place called the Grotto that I really like. I wont go into to much detail because I want to wait and do a post on that when i have pictures and video. One place I did go this last Sunday called East Bay. Its a nice place with some cliff jumping and snorkeling. Before I got in the water I went exploring and found a golf course on top of the cliffs. I need to get out with my camera more often.

On the way to the site I had my Go-Pro set up in my truck and filmed the drive there. It takes me about thirty minutes to get there but with the magic of video editing I cut it down to about 2 minutes for those of you who are interested in seeing some of the road here. I threw this video together pretty quickly so forgive the poor editing and strange song. I will be doing more in the future. I just need to get the time. And motivation. I think a DJI Mavic Pro would motivate me. Maybe I can sell some blood or plasma.
